This was my second time here, but my first time for lunch. I came with a couple of friends, with the goal of trying their highly praised Duck Fat Burgers, which were rated as the second-best burger in Milwaukee by Milwaukee Magazine. We were not disappointed. It was a Wednesday, and we arrived a little before noon. There were a few other people there, some at the bar and others at the small tables. The place is a little loud, with lots of hard surfaces and music playing. We were greeted by a very friendly server, who seemed to be doing pretty much everything except the cooking. There are a couple of different burgers on the menu, but we all went with the Duck Fat Burger. It is a one-third pound patty, cooked to order. My medium-rare came out exactly as I like it. The combination of caramelized onion, cheese, and thousand island was well balanced. The bun was nicely grilled, and the crunch lasted through the entire meal. The French fries were hot and flavorful, with a very crusty exterior and a soft inner texture. I talked to the cook, who let me in on the secret, they double fry them. With the exception of the noise level, it was an excellent burger experience. The service was very good (thanks, Jessica). I will definitely be coming back again.

Food was excellent n it was pretty busy for 1 server. She was great though. Duck breast was good. In our party everyone loved the special. Shrimp with bacon bits, roasted pepper sauce n Cavatelli pasta with chili flakes. Maple ol fashion was solid.

Ordered the aged duck breast and it was just fantastic. Meat moist, skin crispy. Everyone else in my group got the blue gill fry. The coleslaw was loved and all said they would not order again. They were eyeballing my plate with longing. The staff here including the chef/owner and his fiance are very welcoming and outgoing. The restaurant was overwarm on a sultry day, leading to the wine I had with dinner being too warm also. This is a slow food restaurant so not a place to go if you're in a rush. After being seated, it took about an hour until we we got our food.

Was pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this place is! Lisa was a wonderful server and the food was delicious. I had the bluegill fish fry which came with a ginger coleslaw and a horseradish-y tarter sauce. Very good!

Specialty burgers once a week so there's always a reason to come back. You won't regret it either, delicious!

Super cute little spot in West Allis! We got the Bulgogi Meatballs as an appetizer. It came with 6-7 bite size meatballs, super flavorful! I got the Vegan Thai Curry but added shrimp (not so vegan LOL) and it was delicious! Not too spicy and full of flavor.
